“Towards a Common Construction & Demolition Waste Management Protocol”, meeting 2

After the first meeting, held on June, 26, 2015, next 4 of February will take place the second one in Brussels, Belgium, with the presence again of the European Demolition Association, EDA.

This project was launched by DG GROW to develop a ‘Common EU Construction and Demolition Waste Management Protocol’, a new initiative within the framework of the Construction 2020 Governance Structure – TG 3.

The meeting will be focus in two main subjects.

Firstly, waste logistic: traceability of the waste stream, appropriate waste transport, off-site sorting practices, organisation and transparency and conclusions for the protocol.

And secondly, the improved waste processing: re-use, recycling, recovery andconclusions for the protocol.

“Towards a Common Construction & Demolition Waste Management Protocol” is a project launched by DG GROW to develop a ‘Common EU Construction and Demolition Waste Management Protocol’, a new initiative within the framework of the Construction 2020 Governance Structure – TG 3.

The project will have different meetings and topics until June 30, 2016, and EDA will be present in order to represent the European Demolition industry.
